Time does not cure everything

27 August..... A special day for me

On the 27th of August, at about 11.45pm, after causing 32 hours of labour for my mom, i was born into this beautiful world. The day started off bitterly though. I have a English paper on my special day. How is that for a way to kick start a birthday. After the paper, i went home to change before meeting JJ for my 1st Birthday Treat!

When i reach home, there was a present on my desk. I ripped it open and found a plasma ball! I've been wanting to get one ever since my brother broke my other one 3 years back. i only just found out that it was my father that got me this fantastic present. i never expected him to get me one. It even reacts to sound!

Met JJ and went to IMM 1st to get my present. To my surprise that he got me a Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera. One of the best present that any of my friends got me. Truly a great friend indeed. Went to The Cafe Cartel after that to have lunch. Had Forest of Mushrooms and cabbed down to Jurong Point cause it was raining heavily. Cost us about 7 bucks. I went to the bank first to carry out some errands and then we headed straight for the arcade XD can't believe that we are at the arcade in the middle of the Prelim period. Daytona for about half an hour. Was really fun playing with people that you totally don't know and we played like we know each other. Complimenting each other after each race and laughing at each others mistake rather that mocking at each other. Moved on to other games. I sucked at the drums. No sense of rhythm at all :P

Took a bus back and the bus was filled with, and i am not exaggerating, black people. Apart from that, there was bits of food and what i think is vomit on the floor. Was really disgusted. Sigh, the day just went by like that... have to wait for another year for another special day like this. but i shall look on the bright side... I'M GOING TO DOWNTOWN EAST TOMORROW!!!

3rd Day of Ramadan

Survived through the 3rd day for fasting. Shall take a break tomorrow. My special day has finally come!!! But i doubt that anyone will remember and wish me a happy birthday. I might even get a beating. So i shall keep mum about my birthday and try to pass it quietly..... What a way to spend a birthday......

Going to have English 'O' Level Paper 1 tomorrow. Not particularly hard for me but I'm somehow pissed that i have an exam on my birthday and not enjoying it like i used to when there are none...

Going to spend tomorrow running errands with JJ. He claims that he is going to buy me a present that i would really like. Can't wait to find out what it is!:P Will be heading to Jurong Point after that to visit the bank to so some things that i shall not say and head over to the arcade for some games =)

Shall take an early rest. Have been only sleeping for 4 hours a day because i have to wake up early to have my breakfast before fasting.

2nd day of ramadan

I SURVIVED THE SECOND DAY OF FASTING!!!!!!! barely.... During the 'O' Level Oral, my mouth was as dry as the desert. it was hard to converse with the examiner plus the fact that one was an Indian teacher and another is a Japanese man that keeps nodding at my every word( like a bobble head toy on the dash of a car on a bumpy road). Not that i am racist or anything like that, i just cant stand Indian examiners, its just that i had many bad experiences with them. for 'N' Level Oral, i got one that scratches her breast constantly when she is testing me, that really put me off. It destroyed my mood to perform properly during the exam. This time the examiner really put me off. I was already the last person last in the hall and my mouth was as dry as a desert and as rough as sand paper, and she still stop me from describing the picture. She ask me to stop and let her ask the first question first before i can continue. I switched off at that moment and was not able to continue my presentation. I forgot all the lines i prepared before it was my turn.

I went home alone after that. JJ wanted to go home and rest first and i did not stop him so he went home before me. Slept for about half an hour before i had to start on my homework.

I just finished planning a trip to celebrate my birthday with JJ. we are going to Downtown East to enjoy ourselves. He keeps insisting that i must go with him. Sounds like he is forcing me, but why would i reject? so going to enjoy myself. I hope...

The start of the fasting month started last Friday, but I'm only starting today. What a shame. i just had my meal for the day. shall make it last till break fast. That's about 7pm i think. 2 mins to start fasting. Wish me luck!

Sorry for not updating my blog. Really apologetic. Have been real caught up with homework and coursework. Its really killing me. Many things happened during the holidays and the first 3 weeks of school. Shall not list them all but a lot happened. will update when i am free. For now, i will continue with coursework now. anticipate more =)

EXAM'S FINALLY OVER LE!!!!!!

Weeeeee! My exam's finally over! Although i don't think i did well. Practically slept through 2 of the papers XD. That's cause i did not sleep enough the previous nights. i actually planned to sleep for just 2 minutes. set the alarm and went for a nap. next thing i knew, 30 mins has passed. I was like HOLY ****. i was left only 10 mins to complete the rest(which was not little). managed to finish one essay question and 2 SBQ. I'm so dead. Sure pass the 19 points mark one. Die already =(

Overall, WEEEEEE!!!!!!! exams are finally over. But i'm not sure that i should be happy. I should be scared, petrified. Coa my F&N practical is coming soon and i have not finished my research. Prelims are round the corner, then 'N' level already. AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!

After the pictures are taken and all are tired, all of us headed in our seperate ways. I went back with Yi Jin and Ri Choon. Stopped by cheers to get a drink before heading to the MRT to catch the train home. My feet was cramping the whole journey back. Took the bus home and tried to resist the pain that was slowly consuming my leg. Got back home and took a second shower and went to bed. Had really enjoyed the class outing.

1st event: English common test

The English paper was easy! took me about 25 mins to finish. hope i can pass.

2nd event: Chinese period

Today chinese period was quite relaxing. did a zian pao and read the text book. was playing game throughout :P Mr Wong came in to tell us to meet him at the canal at 1pm. he wants to show us something XD

Last event: Chemistry experiment

1pm was like zero hour for us lot. Mr Wong took a piece of Sodium and a piece of Potassium with him. He threw the Sodium into the canal and it exploded twice! like gunshots. the next thing he threw was Potasium. once it hit the water, it burst it to flames. man that was a sight i will never forget.

Tiring day

The day started out bad. I woke up late and it started raining. Had my hot drink and prepared for school. There was a long jam outside school and i got of in the middle of the road and walked into school. Was nearly late. 1st period was chemistry and Mr Wong came in with a bleeding throat and only 20% of his voice. Its very heart wrenching to hear him straining to teach us.

Math today was a breeze. 1st time i understand how to do the questions :) During MT, Wen Hui realized that he had lost the bag of money for the chinese books we were suppose to buy. Mdm Tok went around checking everyone's bags but to no avail. Nothing much happened during english and SS was next. we had a test and i could not keep awake and kept dozing off. In the end, i did not finish the last question*sighs*

Had a talk by Ngee Ann Poly after that. Really sad now. Business study cut off point is 12 points! How to achieve that? My dream of taking of my dad's business is now shattered.......

COMMON TEST STARTS TOMORROW!!!!! It feels like last year just ended last week. Now i understand the quote : Time and tide waits for no man.
